Colaiste Chraobh Abhann is a community secondary school situated in Kilcoole, County Wicklow. It is owned and run by the Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board. It was built in 2003 and currently enrols 700 pupils. Students from all religious backgrounds, traditions and cultures are welcome at the school. Teachers are encouraged to adopt a student-centred approach to education. This ensures that each individual student’s needs are catered for. Students are encouraged to achieve their potential whatever their aptitude. A huge emphasis is placed on the social, spiritual and personal development of students outside of the academic sphere of the classroom. There is a vast range of after-school activities in which all students are encouraged to participate.
